Make a 30"x 20" tablerunner. Make a double heart runner for Valentine's Day, or twist the blocks to make a completely different look.
It is essential that you know how to cut accurately, and sew an accurate quarter inch seam.
If you like you can pick up the pattern and fabric and cut your pieces ahead of class time, and you should be able to complete the sewing during the class. If you wait until the class to cut you probably won't finish in class.
